DESSERTS NEEDED FOR SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY WORK CAMP

Southland has been asked to provide desserts for 50 youth coming into Valdosta to do home repairs and painting for the elderly in our community.

Desserts need to be delivered to the Valdosta Middle School cafeteria anytime before 7:30 PM on Friday, June 28th.

If you can provide a dessert, please contact the church office at 229-245-8188.

BABY BOTTLE BOOMERANG

We will have baby bottles available in the lobby so that you may participate in the Baby Bottle Boomerang.

This is an easy and fun way for ANYONE to help those facing an unexpected pregnancy by donating their spare change to the ministry of Options Now.

Simply pick up a bottle and fill it with your loose change or dollars and return it to the church by
Sunday, June 30th.

What can the Baby Bottle Boomerang Do?

$28.00 = 10 Pregnancy Tests
$40.00 = 8 Bibles for Clients
$100.00 = 2 Abstinence Presentations for Youth Groups
$225.00 = One month of Sonograms to change an abortion-minded woman’s heart.

All Southland Ministries, with the exception of Kingdom Kidz and Kingdom Kidz Wee-Ones, will be on sabbatical during the month of July to allow for a time of rest and refreshing.

Mark your calendars and plan to bring your children to the Fisherman’s Beach Kidz Krusade June 4th – 6th from 6:30-8:30pm.

If you have children, or know people who have children, in the 1st through 6th grades, plan to bring them to this fun-filled, action-packed, Christ-centered Krusade.

There will be games, food, outdoor water sports, crafts, puppets, interactive worship and lessons, black lights and much more.

The Krusade is free and you don’t have to attend Southland to participate.
