COMMUNITY TASK FORCE ON VIOLENCE invites you to the Community Listening Forum on Violent Crime on Tuesday, February 2nd from 5:30 PM -8:30 PM at the James H. Rainwater Conference Center. This forum will hold focus groups on the following areas of discussion: Pastoral, Public Safety, Education, Students/Youths, Community/Civic, Judicial, Social Services, Family, and Community-At-Large. Come let us know your concerns and suggested solutions.

ALTAR MINISTRY will meet Tuesday, February 16th at 7:00 PM in the Children's Church. If you are a part of the Altar Ministry, please make every effort to attend this meeting with Pastor Dell as he shares his vision for the ministry.
MEN'S BREAKFAST will resume on Sunday, February 21st at 8:00 AM in the Dinning Hall. Pastor Dell will be the guest speaker.
FREE ULTRASOUND. The Pregnancy Support Clinic/dba Options Now, A Life Choice Clinic, will be conducting Ultrasound Training February 3-6, 2010. Volunteers between 7-20 weeks pregnant are needed for this training. If interested, please call the PSC nurse at 229-333-0080 to schedule an appointment.
STUFFED ANIMALS NEEDED If anyone has any "gently" used stuffed animals that are just taking up space, please consider donating one or two. Margie "Cookie" Guyton has a ministry to the children that live in Hudson Docket and has asked us to put the word out that she is in need of about 150 stuffed animals. She will be calling me on Tuesday, February 2nd, to see how many we have.
MIGRANT WORKERS NEED FOOD If you can donate cooking oil, rice, beans, sugar, peanut butter, noodle soup or maseca to meet this urgent need, please contact Dr. Gray at 229-269-9213.
URGENT NEED FOR BLOOD DONATIONS The blood supply in the Southern US, particularly of type O negative, has dropped to critically low levels. If you are able to donate blood, please considering doing so. Donations may be made at the Valdosta Donor Center at 2517 Bemiss Road on Mondays, Tuesdays 10 am to 7 pm, Wednesdays 1pm to 7 pm, and Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays 8 am to 2 pm.
